IT support is a fast-growing field with a median salary of over $50,000. There are currently more than 215,000 open roles in the United States, and Olivet’s pastor, Jawanza Colvin, is determined to give the people in his community the chance to fill some of them. “I believe that people have power,” he says. “I only can help them recognize that they have it so they can reach their own potential.”
